Learn how to structure your course with chapters, add different types of lessons, upload resources, and manage your content.

## Building Course Content (Chapters and Lessons)

After creating a course, you need to add content. Courses are organized into Chapters (sections), and each chapter contains Lessons.

### 3.1 Adding a Chapter

Steps:
1. After saving your course, you will be on the Curriculum or Course Content page.
2. Click the Add Chapter button.
3. Enter the Chapter Name (e.g., "Introduction", "Module 1: Getting Started").
4. Click Save.

### 3.2 Adding Lessons to a Chapter

Each chapter can contain multiple lessons of different types.

Steps:
1. Locate the chapter you just created.
2. Click Add Lesson (or the "+" icon next to the chapter).
3. Fill in the lesson details.

Lesson Fields:

- Lesson Name - Title of the lesson.
- Host - The type/source of your lesson content (see options below).
- Duration - Length of the lesson in minutes.
- Description - Detailed explanation of the lesson (optional).
- Is Free Preview - If checked, this lesson can be viewed before enrollment.

Host/Content Type Options:

- YouTube: Paste a YouTube URL (Best for free videos, public content)
- Vimeo: Upload or link Vimeo videos (Professional video hosting)
- VdoCipher: DRM-protected video streaming (Premium paid content)
- Self (Video): Upload video files directly (When you own the files)
- Amazon S3: Videos stored on Amazon S3 (Large file storage)
- Google Drive: Videos from Google Drive (Quick sharing)
- URL: Direct link to any video (External video sources)
- Iframe: Embed external content (Interactive tools, widgets)
- Document (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint): Upload files for download/view
- Text: Write content directly in the editor (Text-based lessons)
- SCORM / H5P / XAPI: Interactive learning modules (Advanced e-learning content)
- Image: Display an image (Visual aids)
- Zip File: Downloadable archive (Resource bundles)

### 3.3 Adding Exercise Files/Downloadable Resources

You can attach supplementary materials to your course.

Steps:
1. In the course content editor, look for the Exercise Files or Resources tab.
2. Click Add File.
3. Enter a File Title.
4. Upload your file (PDF, ZIP, DOC, etc.).
5. Click Save.

Students can download these files from the course page.

### 3.4 Reordering and Managing Content

- Drag and Drop: Chapters and lessons can be reordered by dragging them.
- Edit: Click the pencil/edit icon to modify a chapter or lesson.
- Delete: Click the trash icon to remove content (be careful - this is permanent!).
